Biography

Dr. Ryan P. Morco is a radiation chemistry postdoctoral research associate at Idaho National Laboratory. His research interest lies in the radiation-assisted catalysis and electrocatalysis for the conversion of greenhouse gases to value-added products. He holds a doctorate in chemistry from the University of Western Ontario, where he also earned his master’s. He received his bachelor’s in chemistry from Cagayan State University in The Philippines. Before joining INL he was a postdoctoral associate in the Radiation Assisted Materials Performance Science (RAMPS) Group at the University of Western Ontario. In 2019 he was named the recipient of the Canadian Nuclear Society’s R.E. Jervis Award, which recognizes excellence in research and development carried out by a full-time graduate student in nuclear engineering or related fields.
