Biography

​Dr. Binghui Li is a clean energy engineer at Idaho National Laboratory specializing in power and energy systems, mathematical optimization and energy system analysis. Before coming to INL in November 2020, he was a research associate at the University of Texas at Dallas where his projects examined issues related to economics and reliability of wind and solar power generation. He holds a doctorate and master’s in civil engineering from North Carolina State University. He earned his bachelor’s, in energy and environment systems engineering, from Zhejiang University in China. He is an academic journal reviewer for Applied Energy, International Journal of Energy Research, Energy Conversion and Management, Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments, and Energy Strategy Reviews.​
