Malwina Wilding is a nuclear instrumentation engineer at the INL’s Measurement Science Lab, where she focuses on sensors that measure mechanical properties and passive post-irradiation temperature monitors. Malwina has over 8 years of experience with nuclear material science and engineering with focus on nuclear fuels and structural materials. She is currently working to earn her doctorate degree in nuclear science and engineering at Idaho State University (ISU). She holds a master’s degree in nuclear science and engineering and two bachelor’s degrees in mechanical and nuclear engineering from ISU. She has been awarded an Outstanding Work Ethics for a pilot project during her internship at INL and is a member of the American Nuclear Society. Outside work, she enjoys hiking, camping, mountain biking and other outdoor activities
