JunSoo Yoo is working in the Thermal Science and Safety Analysis Department. He contributes to the V&V research for RELAP 7 and will soon participate in the CASL project for computational boiling study. Mr. Yoo has extensive experience developing and applying system analysis codes used in the safety analysis of nuclear power systems. Since 2010 he has extended his research interest to experimental works in the areas of multiphase flow visualization (e.g., PIV, high-speed bubble imaging) and infrared thermometry. Recently, he worked on the DNS code development for two-phase flow applications using the Lattice Boltzmann method.
