Abstract

VDEA aims to prevent entropy among single-purpose applications by utilizing a dynamic framework that enables reading and understanding various file formats through plugins. The main application provides interoperability, allowing for seamless conversion between file formats. With no limit to the number of plugins, this application enables new file formats to be integrated without modifying the existing code base, using unified interfaces. This system fosters increased collaboration among different groups and laboratories while accommodating diverse data types, including images, sounds, and video files. Its extensive customization capabilities, including built-in encryption and access to network resources or custom hardware, allow the application to meet various prospective use cases.
