Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar thermal power generation system utilizing a supercritical carbon dioxide turbine system that can reduce the investment cost of a factory and the production cost of electricity while enhancing the efficiency of the whole turbine system.SOLUTION: A solar-powered turbine system 10 includes the supercritical carbon dioxide turbine system 14 and a solar heating system 12. The solar heating system 12 has a molten salt heat transfer fluid for supplying thermal energy to the supercritical carbon dioxide turbine system 14.
