Abstract

Data driven study of the regressive nature of property taxes investigating the effects of rising property values and tax inequality among
income groups, including policy proposals to introduce a more progressive tax structure. Using data analysis, standard and quantile
regressions, created an interactive application for policy makers that allows for visual representation of changes in property tax structure.
