Abstract

STIG is a software solution for creating, managing, querying, and visualizing STIX data. Graph Indicator and Remediation Language (GraphIRL) applies graph theory to simplify the development and increase the accuracy of IRL in Structured Threat Information eXpression (STIX); view the underlying objects and relationships; and serve as an interface to a database facilitating changes, querying, viewing and sharing of IRL. Additionally, GraphIRL is a vehicle for machine-to-machine automated threat response (MMATR) proofs of concept when integrated into a physical test bed environment. Release of the source code as open source enables stakeholders from vendors to utility companies to enhance and customize this tool’s capabilities, helping to accelerate the adoption of STIX and moving the collective closer to an automated response capability.

This software is open source and available at no cost.
