Abstract

An MCNP model was created of the INL Space and Security Power Systems Facility (high bay), in which an extant model of the Multi Mission Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator was placed. The aim of the project was to discern the degree to which the neutron spectrum gathered during an INL run experiment in 2019 was affected by thermalisation and reflection from the room's concrete walls and floor. For future work on the generator's gamma spectrum the facility's various steel doors, beams and overhead bridge crane were included.
