Abstract
This work presents a multiple consecutive cycles design methodology for Liquid Metal Fast Reactors (LMFR). The methodology searches for the fuel enrichment and the fuel loading pattern and uses multiphysics analysis to model LMFR. To combat the high driver fuel expenses, the methodology proposes using low enriched uranium blankets as a replacement for the natural enriched blankets traditionally used in LMFRs.
