Abstract

This report presents the efforts, undertaken in FY15, aimed at enhancing the Fuel Cycle Options (FCO) Campaign’s capability to perform credible fuel cycle cost estimates and evaluation of financial risk. This effort builds on the work performed in FY14 (Ganda 2014), which focused extensively on understanding the principal drivers of Light Water Reactors (LWR) construction costs, based on historical data. That framework has received further confirmation from the work and the extensive data uncovered in FY15.
