Abstract
In the present work, a scaled-down low-temperature test facility is designed by applying the scaling methodology developed in our previous work [3, 4]. Core scaling requirements have been relaxed in order to attain good loop scaling results. Commercially available heat exchangers that are close to desired DHX and NDHX designs will be used in this experiment. The test facility is fully instrumented, and will be able to provide the experimental data necessary for evaluating the DRACS performance.
