Biography
Stacey Whitmore is a visualization researcher and engineer for Idaho National Laboratory’s AI Data and Visualization department. His research has centered around computer-based procedures, text processing and developing a compiler for processing handwritten procedure descriptions into structured, machine-readable protocols.
Whitmore has been at INL since 2019 where he worked for INL’s Human Factors and Reliability department until joining AI and Data Visualization in February of 2023 where he continues his research and development of user interfaces, emphasizing data visualization via the web.
He earned his bachelor’s in psychology at Brigham Young University-Idaho, minoring in art and design. Before that, he earned an associate degree in computer science and information systems from Salt Lake Community College.
