Biography

Shawn St. Germain manages the Reliability, Risk, and Resilience Sciences Department at Idaho National Laboratory. He is also the principal investigator for the NRC Reactor Operating Experience Data Project where he collects, codifies, assures quality and maintains data necessary to support various risk-associated NRC studies requiring reactor operation experience.  Additionally, he is the principal investigator for a project within the Light Water Reactor Sustainability (LWRS) program that seeks to improve physical security efficiency through the use of dynamic risk analysis.  St. Germain has been with INL more than 18 years and has reactor operations, process engineering and Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) experience.

Outside of work he enjoys snowmobiling, motorcycling, camping and running.
