Biography

Dr. Ruixuan Li is a human factors scientist in Idaho National Laboratory’s Human Factors and Reliability Department. Her areas of expertise include research & development, cognitive engineering, simulation, motion capture, and ergonomics. She earned her doctorate in human factors and ergonomics from University of Minnesota. Dr. Li first came to INL in August 2019, and has since worked in multiple areas including electric grid transmission and distribution operation, nuclear operation, and cybersecurity, with an emphasis on safety, security, reliability, and resilience. Her research focuses on technology integration and improving human performance through various design approaches.
