Biography

Nathan Woods joined Idaho National Laboratory as a visualization specialist in 2021, where he creates high-quality images and video to support science and engineering throughout the lab. He is most recently from Los Alamos, New Mexico, and he has worked variously in the computer simulation of fluid mechanics1, verification and validation of computer simulations2, and advanced visualization and analysis3,4 of computational data.

 

Research Interests

Nathan’s focus is the application of visualization tools and techniques to challenges in data analysis and scientific communication.
