Md Ali Muntaha is a post-doctoral researcher at Idaho National Laboratory, specializing in computational materials science and nuclear fuel performance modeling. His research integrates phase-field methods, multiscale modeling, and machine learning to investigate fission gas and its transport behavior in UO2, TRISO fuel performance, and irradiation-induced transformations in structural ceramic materials. He has held research positions at various leading academic and research institutions across the US, contributing to the projects funded by the U.S. DOE, NE-SciDAC, NEUP, and AFOSR. He has published in leading journals such as Journal of Nuclear Materials, Corrosion Science, and AIP, and mentor's graduate students pursuing careers in computational modeling and energy materials. In addition to his research and mentoring, Dr. Muntaha actively serves as a reviewer and guest editor for specific journals.
