Biography

Margaret Marshall is a Nuclear Engineer in the Fuel Development, Performance, and Qualification Department of INL’s Nuclear Science & Technology (NS&T) Directorate.  Since 2018 she has served as Principal Investigator (PI) on the High-Performance Research Reactor (HPRR) Project, supporting the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) in the qualification of high assay low enriched plate fuel for research reactors.  In this capacity, she leads a multi-disciplinary team to test and qualify new reactor fuel designs.  Prior to becoming a PI, Margaret worked as a neutronics analyst supporting the International Criticality Safety and Reactor Physics Benchmark Evaluation Projects (ICSBEP and IRPhEP). She hold a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Utah (2010) and a master’s degree in nuclear engineering from University of Idaho (2012).
