Kendell Horman is a mechanical design engineer in the Experiment Design Department at the Idaho National Laboratory. In this role, he is responsible for the design, fabrication, and installation of fueled and non-fueled experiment equipment for irradiation experiments. Prior to this role he was a reactor operator at the Advanced Test Reactor for 7 years. As a reactor operator an intimate knowledge of nuclear physics, mechanical systems, heat transfer, control systems, and plant equipment is required. He was also responsible for the operation of not only Nuclear Science and Technology irradiation experiments but also for numerous naval reactor experiments.
