Biography
Karen D'Souza is a postdoctoral researcher at Idaho National Laboratory, where she works on generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) projects for nuclear safety applications.
Her expertise lies in GenAI, large language models (LLMs), active learning, human-in-the-loop, multimodal AI and natural language processing. Her academic background includes computer science, electricial and computer engineering. She has held machine learning focused internship positions at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, IBM Research and Dell Inc.
She received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Purdue University in 2024.
