Biography

Jooyoung Park is a human reliability scientist in Idaho National Laboratory’s Human Factors and Reliability Department. His research interests include human reliability analysis and probabilistic safety assessment for nuclear power plants, human factor engineering and resilience engineering, digital control room design, human-automation interactions, and nuclear power plant automation. A native of the Republic of Korea, he holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nuclear engineering from Chosun University. He first came to INL for six months in 2019 as part of the Nuclear Global Internship Program, sponsored by the Korea Nuclear International Cooperation Foundation.
