Biography

Heather Medema is a research scientist in the Human Factors and Reliability Department at Idaho National Laboratory. She earned a bachelor’s in biology from Idaho State University and a master’s in human factors psychology from University of Idaho. Her research focus is on control room modernization and human reliability. Her most recent publications include “Human Reliability Considerations for the Transition from Analog to Digital Control Technology in Nuclear Power Plants,” a June 2019 conference paper she co-authored with four other INL researchers.
