Biography

Dr. Harish Gadey specializing in spent fuel analysis and radiation detection with over 9 years of hands-on experience in Monte Carlo based simulations, spent fuel analysis, detector development, experimental studies, and data analysis. Dr. Gadey is proficient in Geant4, MATLAB, Python, and CAD software. Dr. Gadey has worked on several detector development efforts including a safeguards project studying the integration of muons in the spent fuel repository framework, and the development of radioxenon detection systems for sub-surface weapon explosion detection. Currently, Dr. Gadey is focusing on reactor backend systems analysis, SNF transportation routing, and consent-based siting. In his role he leads several projects in support of a federal consolidated interim storage facility.
