Dr. Hanna Hlushko is a materials scientist with a background in chemistry, working as a Russell L. Heath Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow at Idaho National Laboratory in the Aqueous Separations and Radiochemistry group. Hanna received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Chemistry from the Belarusian State University (2014). She continued her research at Texas A&M University, where she worked toward her PhD in Materials Science and Engineering (2020), focusing on antioxidant polymers and polymer coatings. Building on her expertise in surface characterization, she expanded her area of interest into the field of radiation by studying radiolysis at interfaces at the Radiation Laboratory at the University of Notre Dame, prior to joining the team at INL.
