Research Interests

​Fei's research interests include thermal degradation and molten salt corrosion of Ni-based structural alloys and the irradiation damage to oxide and metallic fuels. His work includes demonstrating mechanical behavior by using in situ SEM small scale mechanical testing including micro pillar compression, micro tensile testing, beam bending, and nanoindentation at both room and high temperature. ​
