Kaleb Houck has over 10 years of experience in integration and interoperability of large-scale software systems. He now serves as a software architect and researcher for the Digital Engineering department where he leads digital twin, digital thread, and data hub efforts. He currently leads the efforts to producing a novel digital twin for the Beartooth nuclear fuel cycle testbed using digital twin for design, training, and eventual operation. Previous to his work at the lab he was a core member of an effort of producing a LINK16 battlespace digital twin for NAVAIR for the purposes of integration and interoperability across a complex systems-of-systems space. Kaleb completed his bachelors of computer science from University of Idaho in 2007.
My research interests include digital twin, mixed reality, digital thread, systems engineering, and data management. My focus is taking emerging technologies and integrating them into our digital engineering framework.
