Biography

I work on risk identification and reliability quantification methods for digital instrumentation and control systems. In addition, I develop algorithms to detect trustworthiness for machine learning algorithms using out-of-distribution detection. My primary interest is establishing trustworthiness and reliability in artificial intelligent algorithms beyond interpretability and explainability. One of the software tools I have developed to assess reliability in machine learning is called Data Auditing for Reliability Evaluation, a static data-informed model agnostic tool that can determine the reliability of individual predictions in a real-time manner.
