Biography
Courtney Otani (she/her) is a risk and reliability engineer/scientist for the Reliability, Risk, and Resilience Sciences department. Her work spans three major areas: 1) probabilistic risk assessment and 2) thermal hydraulic system modeling of novel nuclear power systems, and 3) data management and analysis for various experiments at INL. The last section of work is done in her role as lead of the Nuclear Data Management and Analysis System team which captures, analyzes, and delivers the data generated from the nuclear fuel and materials research programs at INL. She earned a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Portland.
