Biography

Nuclear reactor experiment design engineer at Idaho National Laboratory. Design, fabrication, and assembly of irradiation test vehicles for structural materials, nuclear fuels, and advanced instrumentation testing for next generation reactor designs.

Recently graduated with a Master's Degree in Materials Science from the University of Idaho. My topics of interest include nuclear science and engineering (NSE), specifically relating to reactor materials and experiment design, instrumentation and systems, and materials processing development. Additive manufacturing experience with directed energy deposition (DED) additive manufactured (AM) metallic components and advanced coatings. School and industry experience with CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor), CAM (Esprit, Fusion360), CNC Machining (Haas Multiaxis Mills and Lathes), and programming with Labview, Maple, Python, and MATLab. Gaining experience with Abaqus FEA, MCNP, SCALE 6.2.
