Caitlin Huotilainen is a Post-irradiation Examination Research Scientist at the Idaho National Laboratory, where she focuses on the testing, examination, and characterization of irradiated materials for nuclear applications. Caitlin Huotilainen holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from INP Toulouse. Before joining the Idaho National Laboratory, she held positions such as Senior Manager of Materials Engineering in the MCFR Program at TerraPower, Principal Materials Engineer in the Natrium project at TerraPower, Senior Research Scientist in the Nuclear Reactor Materials team at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, and completed her PhD research in the Aqueous Corrosion Laboratory at CEA Saclay.
